So... yesterday my sister had picked something up for me at the mall and it was this cute sequined tank. I thought it was really adorable...but a bunch of people are wearing in them now so i decided to make it a little different by adding some thin metal chain that had had bought a little while ago. i took a few pictures of what how it turned out.. i think it looks pretty cool.
I absolutely loove this single by Adam Lambert.. i don't know.. his appearance on the AMA's was in my opinion waaaay risque and inappropriate..and if a woman did what he did i'd consider it the same... but his new video for his single "for Your Entertainment" is realllllyyyy good!!! Enjoy!!
Ok so i just thought i'd mention how much i absolutely loved the separates that walked the runway of Stella McCartneys spring 2010 show!!!! here are a few examples... check the rest of the collection HERE!
So I am currently obsessing over this band from Cambridge, Massachusetts called Passion Pit. They have an electronic yet easy listning feel to them...Their new video from their single "The Reeling" is really cool.. check them out on their website at passionpitmusic.com here is the music video:
I love both the mens and womens collection! its simple with a graphic edge...the nuetral tones are really nice and the photoshopping of the bodies that don't match the feet or the heads that don't match are a nice touch. really nice stuf!!!
so I am really interested in this Indian designer Manish Arora. I checked out his website and I've seen a few of his collections and he has some really amazing things to offer to the fashion world. He's collaborated with Reebok and Japanese artist Teiichi Tanaami. Manish's designs are a breath of fresh air and are very unique. I love that he's not afraid to use bold colors and shapes. you all shoudl check him and his collections out, at his website here at ManishArora.ws enjoy!!
At Scad-Atlanta I've met some really great student artists and I just wanted to post some information about an artist I met this weekend named Yi-Hsin Tzeng. She was incredibly interesting and her work was some of the coolest stuff I've seen lately. Something really cool about her is that she re-makes our everyday magazines with her representations mixed with what the pages actually have on them...you can actually subscribe to her magazine collection and get one every month!! here is a link to her blog where you can buy and subcrsibe to her magazine http://yihsin2008.blogspot.com/.
Hey guys.. once again I found myself surfing the endless wide web and I just so happened to come across another really cool site called Streetpeeper.com . It features looks from around the world, from NY to Sao Paulo to Amsterdam! It's a definite go to place for inspiration. I really enjoyed this site and I know you all will too!!
I really loved the collection Sharon Wauchob had for her spring 2010 show.. it was very stone age-rocker... I loved the blacks and how she played with the idea of the cut out...with the mesh...rips...and the lace. I couldn't help but feel some of Gareth's spring show in this collection, especially with the greys, the rips and the tears... loved the play with heaviness and darkness with a hint of lights.
